BenQ Materials, a global leader in materials science, announced today that its eco-friendly functional textile brand, Xpore, is participating in the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) 2026 for the second consecutive year. Continuing its brand vision of "Redefine the Textile," Xpore comprehensively showcased its "Three Core Green Technologies" alongside a fully upgraded "Six Major Product Series," while also introducing the world’s first and only Xpore e2cycle electronic waste recycling technology and its latest commercial application achievements. Combined with the recent Swiss bluesign® Level 3: PROGRESSIVE rating awarded to its Yunlin production base, BenQ Materials demonstrated its green integration capabilities spanning across the technology and textile industries, providing global brand partners with sustainable solutions that combine top-tier functionality with environmental foresight.

Three Core Green Technologies Build R&D Barriers; Six Major Product Series Construct an All-Scenario Application Ecosystem

Since its inception, Xpore has deeply cultivated the field of non-toxic, low-carbon eco-friendly functional textiles. This exhibition fully demonstrated the brand's three core technological pillars:
  • 100% PFC-Free Nanoporous Membrane Technology: Completely eliminates per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS/PFCs), guaranteeing ultimate waterproof, moisture-permeable, and breathable functions while eliminating the threat of persistent chemicals to the environment and health.
  • Eco-Friendly Solvent-Free Lamination System: The manufacturing process completely avoids chemical organic solvents, eliminating harmful volatile emissions from the front end to safeguard production line safety and environmental purity.
  • e2cycle Electronic Waste Upcycling Innovation: The world's first innovation to transform high-purity PET raw materials from discarded LCD polarizers in the tech industry into functional textile yarns and fabrics, creating a new high-value circular economy paradigm of "electronics industry to textile industry".

Xpore三大綠色技術築起研發壁壘,六大產品系列建構全場景應用生態

Building upon these three core technologies, Xpore has created a comprehensive six-product matrix, covering the Xpore Ultra series (ultimate durability and powerful protection), LiteTech series (ultra-lightweight and multifunctional daily wear), Agile series (elastic stretch and dynamic comfort), AirTech series (ultimate breathable heat dissipation electrospinning membrane technology), Dynax series (all-around high-performance customized choice), and the circular sustainability-leading e2cycle series, flexibly responding to diverse scenario demands ranging from extreme alpine exploration and polar sports to urban life.

Precisely Aligning with Global Sustainability Regulations: Backed by bluesign® Level 3 Certification, e2cycle Helps International Brands Cross Green Trade Barriers

Facing increasingly stringent PFAS bans and CSRD sustainability regulations in Europe and America, as well as Taiwan’s upcoming Resource Circulation Promotion Act—which shifts governance from end-of-pipe "waste management" to "creating a circular material market"—BenQ Materials leverages its world-first Xpore e2cycle cross-industry circular technology. Combined with the recent bluesign® Level 3: PROGRESSIVE strict global certification obtained by its Yunlin production base, this symbolizes that Xpore has moved beyond passive compliance from chemical source "input stream management" to process safety, possessing forward-looking governance capabilities to lead industry standards and providing green solutions ahead of regulations to bring four key commercial and compliance values to brand enterprises:
  • Complying with "Mono-Material" Green Design: Traditional functional apparel often faces risks of unrecyclability and regulatory phase-out due to multi-material lamination. Xpore e2cycle builds 100% single-polyester (PET) all-fluorine-free waterproof functional textiles, implementing standards of "easy disassembly and easy circulation" from the source and assisting global top outdoor brand clients like Patagonia and Backcountry in easily complying with source reduction and green design specifications.
  • Complete Traceability Records, Eliminating Regulatory Reporting and Greenwashing Risks: e2cycle has fully established GRS transaction certificates and is certified as Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR), providing clear and transparent material histories to precisely meet strict regulatory requirements for recycled material source verification and information disclosure.
  • Low-Carbon Data Endorsement, Accelerating Scope 3 Carbon Reduction Targets: Substantiated by Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), e2cycle yarn carbon emissions are significantly reduced by about 57% compared to virgin PET, backed by multiple international green certifications to provide brand clients with credible low-carbon footprint data and effectively strengthen corporate ESG sustainability ratings.
  • Seizing Green Procurement Opportunities to Create Differentiated Cross-Over Brand Stories: Through the cross-over circular model of transforming high-tech electronic waste into top-tier functional textiles, partner brands can not only prioritize securing green designated procurement opportunities from public sectors and large enterprises, but also convey persuasive sustainable innovation values to global consumers.
  • International Hall Commercial Application Validation: Multi-Dimensional Exhibition Areas Present Heavyweight Achievements, Cross-Over Partnerships with Global Top Brands and Enterprise Ecosystems.

Xpore’s material R&D capabilities have stepped from laboratories onto the global commercial stage. This TITAS exhibition comprehensively presented commercialization results across extreme exploration, urban life, conceptual samples, multi-dimensional fabrics, and corporate uniforms through four scenario-based exhibition zones: outdoor exploration, urban functionality, conceptual sample garments, diverse fabrics, and corporate sustainability uniforms.

Extreme Hall and Trendy Aesthetics Validation, Gathering 9 International Brands and 15 Top-Tier Equipments

The outdoor exploration zone showcased the M10® Anorak waterproof jacket crafted by Xpore in collaboration with top outdoor brand Patagonia using high-end Ultra membrane materials. The site also simultaneously presented representative mass-produced achievements such as Australia’s Sea to Summit using the AirTech series for lightweight mountaineering equipment (breathable waterproof compression bags, storage bags, freestanding backpack tents, and BIVI bivouac sacks) and the UK’s Mountain Equipment using the LiteTech series for lightweight windproof jackets.

The urban functionality zone displayed the integration of technology and lifestyle aesthetics, featuring Japan’s high-end menswear TARCHI ultimate protection jacket equipped with the high-end Ultra series, Denmark’s premier cycling apparel brand Pas Normal Studios functional rainwear, Italy’s outdoor streetwear brand ROA, Atunas Solar Fleece Pro jackets, and satch—a top ergonomic and functional schoolbag and accessory brand for teenagers under the renowned German parent company FOND OF GmbH. Utilizing e2cycle sustainable fabrics to create trendy functional bags, satch’s product fabrics have heavily adopted recycled textiles made from PET plastic bottles since its founding in 2012, accumulating the consumption of hundreds of millions of discarded plastic bottles. Some models further combined Irish green energy materials with non-toxic, PFAS-free eco-friendly processes, earning international sustainability certifications such as Fair Wear Foundation; this collaboration with Xpore once again echoes the brand's philosophy emphasizing social responsibility and environmental protection.

Forward-Looking Innovation and Cross-Over Symbiosis Zone: The site exhibited 9 brand-new conceptual sample garments covering e2cycle single-fabric weaving technology and high-end functional styles combining four major membrane technologies: Ultra, AirTech, Agile, and DynaX. Simultaneously, 40 sets of fabric samples including Japanese-style and alternative developments were listed, alongside e2cycle sustainable bag and footwear fabrics co-developed with supply chain partners. Furthermore, green recycling technology was extended to the corporate uniform sector, displaying sustainability uniform collaboration blueprints covering leading international enterprises such as AUO, E Ink, China Airlines, Corning, Google, and Qisda, practicing cross-industry high-value green symbiosis.

BenQ Materials Chairman, ZC Chen, stated: "Enterprises should not merely be suppliers, but rather 'co-creators of sustainable value.' Expanding from optical materials into textiles, BenQ Materials uses Xpore as a starting point to promote a cross-industry circular economy. Through our three core technologies, six product lines, and bluesign® Level 3 certification achievements, we have proven that Taiwan's materials science can exert a key influence in the global green supply chain."

BenQ Materials firmly believes that excellent green materials science must withstand the highest specifications of production line validation and international standard testing. Global partners in outdoor sports, functional apparel, and sustainable textile industries are cordially invited to visit the booth during the exhibition to jointly witness the infinite possibilities of how cross-industry materials science can define a low-carbon future.
